Kim Rens
Visual Designer / Light Designer
Born in 1978 in Aarschot.
After my training as a graphic designer, I immediately started working as a light and sound technician in Aarschot.
The following season, I began freelancing for, among others, Villanella, Het Muziek Lod, and was affiliated with Tead.
After that, I joined De Maan (2002–2006), where I also began creating lighting designs.
This resulted in a move to Abattoir Fermé, where I collaborated with Stef Lernous on lighting and set designs.
In the years that followed, I worked and designed for various theatre companies (Toneelhuis, Transparant, Crew/Eric Joris, Helder Seabra, Eastman/Sidi Larbi, Nona, Kaaitheater, …).
I currently also work at Cultuurhuis De Warande as coordinator of theatre technology.
In addition, I run my own skate school, Youth Madness Skate.
