Jeanne Duquennoy (born in 2007) is a young creator and performer from Antwerp. She is in the sixth year of high school and studies Theater. With a passion for theater, she started the ManOverBoord theater course three years ago. Through those years, her love for movement began to grow. She plays, moves and seeks out boundaries. Jeanne likes to try things out and is not afraid to enter unknown territory by doing so. To try and to dare on the theater is something that interests her. Jeanne likes to show opinions and make people aware of the prudishness of man on stage. She likes to play figures far removed from her own life. She loves the realness and rawness of movement and is not afraid to go for it all the way. She is interested in what text, movement and acting can make up together. REPEAT. is one of her first major stage projects. Jeanne dives into the performance in both intense physical movement and collective collaboration. She is excited to continue as a creator and actress in the coming years.
